18 HOLE WOMEN'S GOLF ASSOCIATION

(SWGA-18)

 

The Stoneybrook Women's Golf Association consists of an eighteen hole league and a nine-hole league. Each league has its own Board of Directors and its own set of bylaws. Competition, fun, and equitable golfing opportunities for women of Stoneybrook is the number one priority of the SWGA. Regular communication between the two leagues helps to ensure that this goal becomes a reality.
 

MEMBERSHIP POLICY

Membership in the Stoneybrook Women's Golf Association (SWGA) is open to any woman golfer in good standing at Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club. SWGA members must have either a valid Stoneybrook member number or a transfer membership of 4 months or longer with a paid individual handicap.
 

18 HOLE LEAGUE HANDICAP REQUIREMENTS

  • U.S.G.A. Handicap of 40 or less.
  • Ten 18 hole rounds must be played at Stoneybrook and entered into the Stoneybrook GHIN Handicap System or
  • A U.S.G.A. Handicap index which converts to a 40 or less handicap at Stoneybrook from another Club.
  • Verified in writing by the Club pro and mailed or delivered to the Stoneybrook Club Pro should that Club not use the GHIN system.
